Managing Ethernet Configuration for ELO Android Devices for Appetize

Description: To view the status of an Ethernet connection, use the following steps.

1. Press the two buttons simultaneously at the bottom right underside of the terminal screen (or hold the power button down for 2-3 seconds).
2. A control panel screen will appear asking for the password to the device (password is 1elo).
3. After entering the password, the home screen will load. This will show if the device is connected to the network.
4. Select Network at the bottom of the screen and then choose the LAN tab to view the connection.

Configure Static IP

To set a static IP on the Ethernet connection, use the following steps: 

1. Press the two buttons simultaneously at the bottom right underside of the terminal screen (or hold the power button down for 2-3 seconds).
2. A control panel screen will appear asking for the password to the device (password is 1elo).
3. Select Apps at the bottom of the screen and then Settings.
4. Choose Ethernet Configuration twice.
5. Tap Static IP and enter the IP Address, Netmask, and Gateway Address.

Disable WiFi

If the device is using Ethernet/LAN only, we recommend disabling the WiFi to avoid network conflicts.

1. Press the two buttons simultaneously at the bottom right underside of the terminal screen (or hold the power button down for 2-3 seconds).
2. A control panel screen will appear asking for the password to the device (password is 1elo).
3. Select Apps at the bottom of the screen and then Settings.
4. Toggle the WiFi from 'On' (blue) to 'Off' (gray) to disable it.
