Resolve a "Microsoft System CLR Types for SQL Server" Error During Future POS Upgrade

What is causing this Error?

This error is usually seen when attempting to update Future POS to a new version. This issue was fixed in Future release version 6.0.7.40. 

From the release notes:

SE-4257 FIX The FPOS installer could potentially have an issue installing Microsoft System CLR Types for SQL Server 2014 SP2 x86.

How do I resolve this Error?

To fix the issue, cancel the current installation, then download and install the 6.0.7.40 version of Future POS from the FPOS Installer in the Toolbox or from the FPOS Dealer Portal.

Important: Make sure the FPOS version on all systems matches. Check all systems seen in System Devices to make sure you’ve updated all systems at the site.
