Commerce Engine Initial Start Up Permission Setting

Starting with the Commerce Engine 2.6.0 release, Commerce Engine is set to start automatically when the device is rebooted. The Android operating system must grant Commerce Engine permission to draw over other applications to support this functionality. This prompt should only occur the first time Commerce Engine is launched after the initial installation.

1. Install the S4 Commerce application.
2. Select the S4 Commerce application.
   
3. Select the Allow display over other apps setting to enable it.
   
4. Select the back arrow to navigate back to the Main Settings menu.
   
5. Select the back arrow on the Main Settings screen.
   
6. Select the S4 Commerce application.
   
7. Commerce Engine will launch and display the idle screen.

1. Install the S4 Commerce application.
2. Select the S4 Commerce application.
   
3. Select the Allow display over other apps setting so it is enabled.
   
4. Hold the power button on the side of the device to bring up the menu.
   
5. Select the Restart button to restart the device.
   
6. The device will restart.
   
7. Commerce Engine will launch automatically and display the idle screen.

1. Install the S4 Commerce application.
2. Select the S4 Commerce application.
   
3. Select the Allow display over other apps setting to enable it.
   
4. Select the back arrow.
   
5. Commerce Engine will launch automatically and display the idle screen.
   

A3700

1. Install the S4 Commerce application.
2. Select the S4 Commerce application.
   
3. Select S4 Commerce in the "Display over other apps" Settings screen.
   
4. Select the Allow display over other apps setting to enable it.
   
5. Restart the device by holding the power button on the front of the device and then selecting Restart.
   
6. The device will restart.
   
7. Commerce Engine will launch automatically and display the idle screen.

1. Install the S4 Commerce application.
2. Select the S4 Commerce application.
   
3. Select the Permit drawing over other apps setting to enable it.
   
4. Press the red Power/Delete button to close the settings and open the S4 Commerce application.
