Description: SkyTab Mobile is fully integrated with Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM), so you can conveniently adjust various SkyTab Mobile settings from Lighthouse. Review these settings below, or follow along with this webinar video.
Login
Every account will receive a registration email for lh.shift4.com. Once registered, log in with the email and password you created during the registration process by selecting the Sign In button.
Devices
When you log in, you arrive at the Dashboard. To adjust the SkyTab Mobile settings, select Set up your SkyTab now! from the Dashboard layout.
Configure SkyTab Mobile
To configure SkyTab settings, navigate to the Lighthouse > Devices > SkyTab Mobile.
Default Tip Settings
To change the default tip amounts that appear on the SkyTab Mobile device, under Default Tips Settings, select each Tip percentage to add your customized tip and select the Save Changes button.
Assigning Items to Guests
This setting allows you to assign items to specific guests when ordering on SkyTab Mobile.
Guest Settings
This setting allows you to enable or disable the ability to collect customers' names and phone numbers after checkout. Here you can determine the following:
- Free Form Label: Indicates the guest to write their name
- Message Wording: This allows you to change the message that appears on the SkyTab Mobile device when the customer is paying.
Guest Rating Alerts
Toggling the 'Notify when rating is below rating value' option to the right allows the manager to be notified whenever a customer gives a poor rating. This setting has the following options when enabled:
- Rating Value: The stars the rating must be less than to trigger the notification
- Notification Phone: The phone number to text the notification to
- Notification Email: The email address to send the notification to
There is also a toggle to 'Show rating screen to guests' that can be enabled or disabled.
Use the Add profile button to add more guests.
Ordering
Here is where you'll find the option to 'Enable Order at the Table Feature.'
Payment Settings
- Allow Partial Payment Flow to activate the Split Payments option for SkyTab. At this time, payments can only be split by custom dollar amounts, not by menu items.
- Enable Signature Capture prompts the customer to sign on-screen and print the merchant copy, then proceeds to ask them to email or print their customer copy.
- Enable Pay With Cash activates the cash tender type option for SkyTab Mobile.
Branding
The Branding section allows you to add your business logo to the rating screen. To set business logos:
- Toggle the 'Show Location Logo' to the right to enable it.
- Press the Choose File button.
- Select the image to use as the logo.
- It must be either JPEG, PNG, GIF, or BMP.
- The image will appear when successfully uploaded.
- Select Save Changes.
