Editing Permissions
Navigate to Manager > Settings > Employees > Job Setup. Click Add New in the upper left to add a new job or select a job from the left to populate its details into the Job Information screen on the right:
- Tap on the blue Permissions box to view all permissions available.
- Highlighting a permission in blue assigns it to that job; tapping the highlighted permission again removes it from that job.
- Tap the blue Permissions button again to return to the Job Information screen.
- Select Save to commit the changes.
Important: An employee must clock out and then clock back in for any job permission modifications to take effect.
Available Permissions
- Access Customer Settings: Allows access to Customer Settings and add/edit Customers.
- Access Discount Settings: Allows access to Discount Settings and add/edit Discounts.
- Access Employee Settings: Allows access to Employee Settings and add/edit Employees.
- Access End of Day: Allows access to the End of Day screen and closing the register out.
- Access General Settings: Allows the adjustment of any settings in General Settings.
- Access Hardware Settings: Allows the adjustment of any settings in Hardware Settings.
- Access Inventory Settings: Allows view-only access to the Item Tracking screen.
- Access Inventory Settings (Edit): Allows adjustments in the Item Tracking screen.
- Access Order Type Settings: Allows adding and editing Order Types.
- Access Receipt Settings: Allows access and adjustment to the Receipt Settings.
- Access Reporting: Allows access to all reporting from the Reports screen.
- Access TimeClock Management: Allows view-only access to shifts in TimeClock.
- Access TimeClock Management (Edit): Allows access to adjust shifts in TimeClock.
- Allow Multiple Discounts Per Item: Allows multiple discounts to be applied to one item.
- Allow Multiple Discounts Per Ticket: Allows multiple discounts to be applied to the ticket.
- Cancel Ticket: Allows an employee to cancel a ticket.
- Cancel Ticket Item: Limits an employee from canceling items individually.
- Cash Drawer – Cash In: Gives permission to put money in the drawer.
- Cash Drawer – Cash Out: Gives permission to take any money from the drawer.
- Cash Drawer – Safe Drop: Allows you to take money from the drawer to be stored in a safe for later depositing.
- Change Item Price: Allows the adjustment of the price on any item.
- Day End – Adjust Tips: Allows access to Adjust Tips from the Day End screen.
- Day End – Show Expected Values: Allows access to view the totals for the day.
- Day End – X Report: Allows an X-Report to be printed.
- ECR Item Entry Numpad: Allows access to the ECR Calculator to ring up Open Items.
- Edit Screen Layout: Allows the adjustment of how the ECR screen looks.
- Issue Gift Card: Allows an employee to issue Gift Cards.
- Process Open Refund: Allows an employee to issue refunds.
- Recall Committed Tickets: Allows employees to recall a held ticket.
- Refund Completed Sales: Allows employees to refund a completed sale.
- Void Payments: Allows access to void a payment on a held ticket.
- Void Tickets: Allows an employee to void a ticket that was in held orders.
Note: If you are looking for a specific permission, select CTRL + F on your keyboard and type in the name for quicker results.
