Enable Access to Modify System Settings on Shift4 Dine

Description: You can modify System Settings on Shift4 Dine through the Settings app. The Shift4 Dine application cannot modify System Settings when initially set up.

To enable access to modify system settings, the Shift4 Dine application must first be closed.

1. Navigate to the apps menu to open Settings > Apps.
2. Select the Settings icon in the top right.
3. Choose Modify System Settings.
4. Select the Shift4 Dine application.
5. From here, toggle the Allow modify system settings option to the right (on).
   
6. Once complete, follow one of the following options to dismiss the window:
   • Option 1: Press the ( i ) button in the top right corner.
     
     • Then, on the app menu screen, press Force Stop.
     • Press OK on the prompt that appears, then reload the Shift4 Dine software.
       
   • Option 2: If you're remotely connected, press the ESC key on your keyboard.
