Process Through the Shift4 Application on Shift4 Duo/Shift4 One

Description: Learn how to process a transaction using the Shift4 P2PE application on Shift4 Duo or Shift4 One. In rare cases, this might be needed if the Shift4 Duo or Shift4 One applications are not available.

Close Shift4 Duo/Shift4 One Application

To close the application, restart the device:

1. Press and hold the power button that is on the side of the device:
   
2. Select the Restart option that appears on the screen:
   
3. After the device restarts, you will see all available applications on the screen:

Open the Shift4 P2PE Application

Open the Shift4 P2PE application located on the main application screen:

Process the Sale

1. Press on the transaction amount and enter the amount:
   
2. Enter the tip, if applicable:
   
3. Possible ways to use the card:
   1. Insert Card.
   2. Tap Card.
   3. Swipe Card.
   4. Enter Card Number (If this option is selected, after entering the number, select the CONFIRM button for the sale to initiate):
