Description: Learn how to adjust the date and time on a PAX A930.
Ensure the date and time on the A930 SkyTab device are always the same as the POS system’s timezone settings.
Note: If the date or time is not accurate, this could cause issues like not being able to sync or not being able to log in to the Shift4 PATT app.
Adjust the Time
- To begin, reboot the SkyTab unit by pressing and holding the power button on the device in order to access the Settings menu.
- Once rebooted, select the Settings app on the A930’s homepage.
- When prompted, enter the password 9876.
- If this password is unsuccessful, newer models may use the password pax9876@@.
- If this password is unsuccessful, newer models may use the password pax9876@@.
- Select Date & Time from the Settings menu under System.
- When the Date & time screen displays, enable Automatic date & time, and Automatic time zone.
Important: If the incorrect time is displayed on the top right-hand corner of the device when selecting these options, you will have to temporarily disable the Automatic time zone, adjust it manually under Select time zone, then re-enable the Automatic time zone. - Once those two settings are enabled, simply back out of the screen and reattempt to access the SkyTab application.
