Description: Learn about the Optimized Header format for Ticket Printers, which features a larger font size for easier readability.
Note: The Optimized format is only available for Headers and is not yet available for Footers.
When enabled, a user will see the format for the header on a Ticket print change from:
To a new format that ignores the size options selected and always prints in this format:
To enable the Optimized Header:
- Navigate to Manager > Settings > Hardware > Printers/KDS.
- Select a remote printer.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- In the "Header" section, select the current header dropdown, then choose the Optimized Header from the available list and select OK.
- Select Save to save the changes.
