Description: The Terminal Transaction Report is no longer available in Shift4 One. Learn how to access transaction data using the Location Transaction Report.
This Report Has Been Removed
The Terminal Transaction Report is no longer available in Shift4 One.
It has been replaced by the Location Transaction Report, which now provides all transaction reporting in a single, consolidated view.
What You Had vs. What You Have Now
Here’s how common Terminal Report use cases map to the Location Transaction Report:
| Previously (Terminal Report) | Now (Location Transaction Report) |
| Transaction totals by terminal | Per-employee / per-device summary rows |
| Tip breakdown by device or staff | Tip totals shown per employee |
| End-of-day batch summary per terminal | Respects configured batch time (e.g., 3am close) |
| Running totals for a terminal | Full location totals at the top of the report |
What to Do Next
To view your transaction data:
- Open the navigation menu in Shift4 One.
- Select Reports.
- Select Location Transaction Report.
For full details, visit the View or Print the Location Transaction Report article.
Internal
If the caller is not satisfied with using the Location Transaction Report or LBM or Transaction Manager (US only) reporting as a substitute, here are the suggested pathways for further escalation depending on the caller.
-
If the caller is the merchant
Redirect the caller to contact their ISO to express their frustration and concerns in regards to the matter. If the merchant does not have an ISO, you can forward the merchant's concerns via email to partnersupportuk@shift4.com or Slack direct message to the following contacts:- Partner Management: Angie Kowalczyk, Sammie Lee
-
Sales: Ciaran Savage, John Selby, Andy Aisthorpe
-
If caller is the ISO
Advise the ISO to reach out to their sales/partner management to further discuss the removal of the report and provide business cases as to why it needs to be returned or receive an equivalent substitute.
If the ISO wants support to still further escalate internally, you can forward the ISO’s concerns via email to partnersupportuk@shift4.com or via Slack direct message to the following contacts:- Partner Management: Angie Kowalczyk, Sammie Lee
- Sales: Ciaran Savage, John Selby, Andy Aisthorpe
