- This is a fee comprised of set requirements assembled by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. This is designed to ensure all companies that process credit card information and maintain a secure environment.
- This is an industry-wide fee implemented to combat fraud, ensure data security, and conform to industry standards and regulations.
How much is the Regulatory Assurance Fee?
Merchants are billed $325.00 per device (up to a maximum of 3 for $975.00) annually.
Was I notified about this charge?
Yes, your November Lighthouse Business Manager notice discloses the date this would be billed.

Internal:
- Agreement signed AFTER 12/1/23: Section 5.4.1
- Agreement signed PRIOR to 12/1/23: Section 1.6 D
- Merchants who signed prior to 12/1/2023 have agreed to this annual fee price of $129.99 by continuing to use Shift4 services following 30 days after the October Merchant Notification.
