Description: Learn how to accept different payment methods on SkyTab SOLO.
Note: For merchants using SkyTab SOLO, all transaction processing should be completed in the SkyTab SOLO application. The only two exceptions are EBT transactions and instances where SkyTab SOLO cannot process the transaction. In both cases, the BroadPOS application must be used to complete the processing.

Initiate the Transaction
- From the home screen, select Pay Custom Amount.
- Enter the dollar amount and select Continue. If tips are enabled, enter the tip amount.
- Select the payment method.
Cash Payments
- Enter the received amount and select Continue.
- The screen will display the appropriate change due. Provide the customer with their change and select how they would like their receipt.
Credit Card Payments
- After selecting Credit Card, proceed to the tip screen. Once the desired tip is selected, select Continue.
- Process the payment by tapping, inserting, or swiping the customer’s card.
- You will receive confirmation once the payment has been successfully processed, and you can select how the customer would like their receipt.
Credit Card Manual Entry Payments
- After selecting Credit Card, proceed to the tip screen. Once the desired tip is selected, select Continue.
- Process the payment by selecting Enter Card Number.
Note: Manual entry is only available for the credit tender option. - Bring up the onscreen keyboard by selecting the box and entering the card number.
- Input the cards valid expiration date.
- Type the valid credit card verification code (CVC) or V-code.
- Input the address that is associated with the card holder.
- You will receive confirmation once the payment has been successfully processed, and you can select how the customer would like their receipt.
Debit Card Payments
- After selecting Debit Card, proceed to the tip screen. Once the desired tip is chosen, select Continue.
- Process the payment by tapping or inserting the card.
Note: Manual entry is not available on Debit tender option. Depending on the card holder's bank, the prompt for Pin Code may not appear. - You will receive confirmation once the payment has been successfully processed, and you can select how the customer would like their receipt.
