Connect the TP-Link Switch
- Plug the Cat 5/6 Ethernet cable coming from the TP-Link router’s Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) or LAN ports into the first port of the switch.
Important: Do not plug the cable from the WAN port on the router into the switch. Otherwise, you will lose the connection. - Plug different Cat 5/6 Ethernet cables into the remaining ports on the switch, and connect the other ends to the equipment you need, for example: Point of Sale (POS) system, kitchen printer, etc. You can use as many free ports on the switch as you need.
- Plug the power cable into the back of the switch and connect the other end to a power outlet.
