Configure Reservation Blocks on SkyTab Lighthouse Business Manager

Overview

Reservation Blocks allow you to define the time frames during which reservations can be made and control table availability. Configuration is done in Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM).

Note: Reservation blocks cannot be created or edited directly in the POS; changes must be made in LBM.

Accessing Reservation Blocks

1. Log in to LBM.
2. Navigate to SkyTab Settings > Reservations.
    
3. Select the Reservation Blocks tab.
   

Reservation Blocks Tab

The Reservation Blocks tab provides a daily view of your reservation schedule and table availability. 

Key points:

• Sections: Divided into Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
• Time Frames: Start and end times for each section can be customized.
• Availability: Specify the number of tables available for each block.
• Activation: Toggle sections on or off to match your business schedule.
• Daily Control: Disable individual days by deselecting all sections for that day.

Creating or Editing a Reservation Block

1. Select the day you want to configure.
   
2. Add or edit the time frames for each section and select Done.
   
3. Specify the number of tables available during that block.
   
4. Repeat for each section and day as needed.
5. Select Save to apply your changes.

Notes:

• Configure blocks to match your busiest periods and align availability with staffing.
• Reservation blocks determine when customers can book tables; they do not assign specific tables. Table assignment is still handled in SkyTab POS Host Mode.
• After configuring blocks in LBM, navigate to Host mode > Reservations tab on SkyTab POS to view and manage reservations within the defined blocks.
