Note: If you haven’t yet connected your Kitchen Display System to the network, connect it first before configuring it in the POS system.
Configure the Kitchen Display on the POS
- Log in to your SkyTab POS as a manager and navigate to Manager > Settings > Hardware > Printers/Kitchen Display.
- Select Add New Device.
- Enter a name for your Display display. The name of your Display should reflect usage, such as "Prep Station."
- In the IP field, select IP and enter the IP address. To find the IP address of your Display:
- Turn on your Display.
- Check the lower right corner of the screen for the IP address.
- Enter this number in the IP field.
- Select Kitchen Display System from the Device Model dropdown.
Note: When the Display is selected, the other values on the screen will be set by default. - Tap Save.
- Tap the Send Config button.
- Once sent, assign the items and modifiers you want the Display to show.
- Tap Save.
- Go to the Order menu and create a test ticket to send to the Display and ensure everything is working properly.
- Repeat these steps for each Display.
