Use the Modifier Mix Report in the Shift4 Dine Customer Hub

Access the Modifier Mix Report

1. Log in to the Shift4 Dine Customer Hub.
2. From the left navigation menu, select Reporting > Reports. 
   

Using the Modifier Mix Report

The Modifier Mix report in the Shift4 Dine Customer Hub shows how modifiers perform across items, with options to group, filter, and export data for deeper analysis.

Filters

At the top of the screen, four primary filters control what data the report displays.

• Select Location to choose one or more business locations to include.
  
• Select Period to define the time range for the report. Reports display closed business day data only.
  Important: Reports display closed business day data only.
  
• Select Group By to choose how the report data is organized. Options include: Location, Order Types, Revenue Centers, Day Parts, Hours, 15 Mins, Employees, Item, Department, Revenue Class, and Modifier.
  
• Select Secondary Group By to apply a second level of grouping. Options are the same as Group By, plus None to disable secondary grouping.
  

Modifier Mix Table

The table presents the following columns for each grouping:

Column	Description
Modifier	Modifier applied to the item
Mod Sales $	Total sales generated from modifiers
Mod Qty	Total quantity of modifiers sold
Avg Gross $	Average gross sales amount for modifiers
Attach Rate	Percentage indicating how often the modifier is attached to an item

Each column supports sorting, filtering, column selection, and an information tooltip.

Actions

The Actions menu provides the following options:

• Select Manage Columns to customize which columns appear in the report.
  
• Select Add to Saved Reports to save the current configuration for future use.
  
• Select Export to download report data in CSV, PDF, or Excel format.
  
• Select Subscribe to Report to set up a recurring delivery by configuring a subscription name, schedule, recipients, and format.
  

Additional Filters

Expand the report with additional filters:

Time-based:

• Hours
• 15 Mins

Operational:

• Employees
• Order Types
• Day Parts
• Revenue Centers

Adding filters allows for deeper analysis of performance trends.

Refine Data

Two toggles are available to adjust what the report displays:

• Show Chart displays a visual graph of the report data.
  
• Show $0 Amounts includes modifiers with a $0 sales amount in the results.
