Enable Auto Print After Payment
The Auto Print After Payment setting allows receipts to print automatically immediately after a successful payment.
When enabled, you no longer need to manually confirm or print receipts after each transaction, helping create a faster, smoother checkout experience during busy periods.
Enable Auto Print After Payment on the Terminal
- From the Home screen, tap the hamburger menu (3 horizontal lines).
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select Receipts.
- Enable the Auto Print Receipt After Payment toggle.
When enabled, receipts will print automatically immediately after a successful payment.
Enable the Setting in Customer Hub
The same receipt setting can also be managed in Customer Hub:
- Log in to the Customer Hub.
- Select Devices > Shift4 One.
- Select Settings.
- Enable the Auto Print Receipt After payment toggle.
- Select Save Changes.
Notes:
- If the setting is disabled, receipt printing may require an additional manual action after payment.
- Automatic printing helps streamline checkout operations, especially during high transaction volumes.
- Merchant receipts can still print even when customers choose to receive their receipt by email.
