Create a Marketplace Menu

Overview

A Marketplace menu manages your point-of-sale menu for marketplace sales channels, including your online store, kiosk, and directly integrated third-party delivery services such as Grubhub, DoorDash, and Uber Eats. Marketplace Menu Management is located within Multi-Location Management. You configure a Marketplace menu at the enterprise level and access it at the location level to manage local data, view point-of-sale menu prices, and see activation status with local overrides.

You can create multiple Marketplace menus and assign each to different locations, supporting regional item availability, scheduling, and pricing.

Create a Menu

1. Log in to the Shift4 Dine Customer Hub.
2. Select Marketplace Menus.
3. Create a new menu.
4. Enter a name for the menu.
   

Important: Choose a descriptive name, since you can create multiple Marketplace menus and assign each one to different locations.

Create a Schedule

Each Marketplace menu requires at least one schedule. A schedule can reflect your open hours for online orders each day, or you can create more than one schedule if, for example, different items are available at different times of day. 

1. Select + Add Schedule.
2. Enter a name for the schedule.
3. Select the days to apply the schedule.
4. Select + Add Time Range.

The Marketplace menu displays a list of sales channels (integrations) based on the active integrations configured for your locations in Marketplace.

You can optionally set a pricing rule for each integration. The rule automatically calculates the price for all items and modifiers based on the Default Price or, if provided, the Online Price.

Note: Once your menu, schedule, sales channels, and pricing rules are set, you can begin editing the Marketplace menu. Learn how to edit items, modifiers, and locations in Edit and Manage Marketplace Menu Items.
