Show Linked Parent Item on Routed Tickets in Shift4 Dine

Overview

When this setting is enabled, the parent item associated with a linked item prints on routed tickets, providing additional context for kitchen and preparation staff. When the setting is disabled, routed tickets continue to print without the linked parent item.

This enhancement gives you greater flexibility in configuring routed ticket output to meet your operational needs.

Enable Show Linked Parent Item on Routed Tickets

1. On the Workstation, navigate to Manager > Settings > Hardware. 
2. Select the Printers/KDS tab. 
3. Select a kitchen printer and go to the Advanced tab. 
4. Select the Show Linked Parent Item on Routed Tickets checkbox.
   
5. Select Save.
   Note: When this setting is disabled, routed tickets print without the linked parent item.
