Description: Shift4Gift Shop allows locations to offer their customers online sales, E-Gift, and physical cards. Once activated, users can update the style of their shop and what they offer.
The landing page introduces the customer to your restaurant and its brand. The location’s customized shop name is located above “YOUR LOGO” at the top of the page.
This page also has the option to check the balance, which is also a good way to drive customers to the site. When a gift card is sold in-house, the staff member can direct the customer to the shop URL on the back of the gift card.
Order Gift Cards
When the customer wants to purchase a gift card from the shop, they have two options:
- Send Digitally
- Send by Mail
Send Digitally (Order Gift Card button)
Shift4Gift allows customers to order e-Gift cards. This allows the customer to buy e-Gift cards that can be used in-store or online.
- Choose Design: Location set eGift designs.
- Choose Amount: Use a preset amount or use a custom amount (if the location allows it).
- Quantity: Number of gift cards in the denomination from above.

Add Delivery Details:
- Recipient Name
- Recipient Email
- Sender Name
- Personal Message: A message displayed in the email to the gift card’s recipient customer.
When the customer is satisfied with the order, select Add to Cart.
Cart
There are two ways to reach the Cart view:
- The cart icon on the top of the landing page
- Select the Add to Cart button
The customer can update the quantity from this view, including moving the item to zero, which will close the cart if the revised zeroed Card is the only line item. When the customer is ready for purchase, select Checkout to enter the payment screen. |
Payment Screen
1. Contact Information
- Enter the email of the customer purchasing the gift card.
- This section allows the customer to sign in to the gift card shop by registering. This will store the customer’s information for later use.
2. Billing Information
- Enter your billing information as specified. There is also an option to be notified of product updates at the end of the section.
3. Choose one payment method
- Enter your payment information as specified. You also have the option to save your card information for future use.
Select Checkout to complete the order. Once the customer selects the Checkout button, they will receive the Order Confirmation screen.
