Description: In Menu Manager, learn how you can set an online-only price for items that differ from the price on the POS. You may also set prices for specific integrations, such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Website Builder.
Setting Online-Only Prices in Menu Manager
To set up special online prices for Marketplace Integrations, such as Online Ordering, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, QR Pay, Website Builder, etc.:
- Log in to Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM).
- Select Marketplace > Menu Manager.
- Expand the Department and select the item whose price you wish to change.
- Below the Store Availability section, set a value in the Online Price field.
Note: If you want to set special pricing for integrations such as Uber Eats, you can use the fields in this section to change those prices as well. The Online Price field serves as a default value if no other prices are set and is initially set to the same price as the POS. If you have different pricing for each integration, use the "Online price" field to set the price for Online Ordering. - Select Save when you are finished.
Note: The Kiosk integration uses the POS Terminal price and cannot be adjusted in the Menu Manager.
Online Menu Price Pull Functionality
Note: Online Menu Price Pulling functionality applies to all marketplace integrations. The example listed below is for a specific situation, but the same rules apply to other integrations except for Kiosk.
Sometimes, the website will pull DoorDash Menu pricing for the merchant website menu. The reason for the website pulling DoorDash menu pricing is most likely because the website pricing is not specified in Menu Manager > Items > Edit Item. If the item's Online Price is predefined, but it is not predefined for the website pricing, the system defaults to Online Price for other shops, and integrations (Online Ordering, DoorDash, Uber Eats, QR Pay, Grubhub, QR Pay, TakeOut7, Menufy, Website Builder, etc.).
