Description: Learn how to add special requests to menu items or modifiers on SkyTab POS and manage multiple requests during order entry.
Add Special Requests to an Item
- While entering an order, select the item with the special request.
- Tap on the Special Request button, then enter the request using the onscreen keyboard.
- Tap the green checkmark when you have entered the request.
- Once the request has been saved, it will now display on the ticket (as shown below) and print when the ticket is printed.
Apply Special Requests to a Specific Modifier
Special requests can be attached to a specific modifier under the parent item.
- From the Special Request screen, locate the "Apply To" drop-down menu.
- Tap Apply To to choose whether the request applies to the parent item or a specific modifier.
The request will display under the selected item or modifier on the ticket.
Multiple Special Requests
You can add multiple special requests to an item or modifier.
- Tap the Add New Request button located at the bottom left of the Special Request page.
- Enter each request as needed.
Requests will appear in the order they are added under each item or modifier.
Remove a Special Request
To remove a request, tap the X on the request you no longer need.
