Description: Learn how to add a GrubHub order on SkyTab POS when GrubHub is not integrated through Lighthouse > Marketplace.
You can only use this procedure if:
- You have a GrubHub account
- You have configured your SkyTab POS with special order type and surcharge for GrubHub orders.
- You have a special GrubHub tender for settling checks
Verify you have a GrubHub Order Type configured for your system by starting a new ticket and tapping the Order Type in the upper left of the ticket.
If you do not have this configured, check with your Account Manager for instructions on configuration.
To enter a GrubHub order:
- From the Ticket Grid, tap New Ticket.
- Select the GrubHub order type from the dropdown.
In most cases, your location has a surcharge configured for GrubHub orders to cover the cost of the service, as shown. This displays when you select the order type. - Using the device that accepts your GrubHub orders, enter the information on the ticket on your SkyTab POS.
- When you have finished entering the order, tap on Send.
- When the customer arrives to pick up the order, find the ticket on the Ticket Grid and press Take Payment.
- Tap on the GrubHub tender and enter the amount tendered from the GrubHub order. Do not include GrubHub's delivery fees or driver tips in the amount.
Note: You must use this special tender to ensure accurate reporting on GrubHub orders. - Press Done to confirm the payment, then select a Receipt Option to complete the ticket.
