Remove a Gratuity From a Ticket on SkyTab POS

You will need special permissions to be able to remove a gratuity from a ticket. Unlike a tip, a gratuity is usually applied to a ticket automatically based on the number of guests on a ticket.

You will most often use this process when the gratuity has been added automatically based on guest count due to an employee error when too many guests/seats have been added to a ticket, triggering the gratuity.

To remove a gratuity from a ticket:

1. On the Orders tab, select the ticket with the gratuity you need to remove on it.

2. Press Open Ticket or double-tap on the ticket to open it.
   

3. With the ticket open, tap the Gratuities button.
   

4. On the Gratuities screen, select the gratuity with the check mark next to it (indicating it has already been applied to the ticket) to remove it.
   

5. Press OK when you are finished.

6. Once the gratuity has been removed, tap the Take Payment button to settle the ticket with the gratuity removed.
