What is the issue?
The transaction has been identified as a possible duplicate of a previous transaction. To ignore the warning and proceed with the payment, press OK.
The Duplicate Request dialog will display when the same Credit Card is processed for the same dollar amount over a short period of time.
Example:
Create a ticket and select Credit Card tender (example below was for .01).
Immediately create a second ticket and select Credit Card tender (example below was for .01).
How do I resolve this issue?
- Stop at the dialog.
- If using EMV (Chip/Dip), remove the card from the payment device.
- Press OK.
- Follow prompts on the payment device.
Note: If OK is pressed while the card is inserted, the flow will fail, and the user will have to start over.
