Description: Learn how to set up users and their permissions on Business Intelligence (BI).

Add a New User
Access Users & Permissions
Select the Setting icon in the upper right corner of the window.
Select Users & Permissions.
Select Add User.
When setting up a new user, you can control:
- Which stores they can access (single store, multiple stores, or all stores)
- Which reports they can view
- Whether they have administrative permissions
Complete the User Information Tab
- Enter the User Name.
- Enter the user’s E-Mail address.
- This is required for Lighthouse access.
- Entering the email ensures Business Intelligence (BI) appears in the user’s menu.
- (Optional) Check the Admin box if the user should be able to edit Users & Permissions.
- (Optional) Check Give access to all stores to automatically grant access to any new locations added in the future.
- Toggle Active to the right to make the user active.
Set Location Permissions
- Select the Location Permissions tab.
- Check the box next to each store the user should access.
- Select Select All to grant access to all stores.
- Select None to remove access to all stores.
Note: If a new user cannot see a location, verify that the store is checked under the "Location Permissions" tab.
Set Report Permissions
- Select the Report Permissions tab.
- Check the box next to each report that the user should access.
- Select Select All to grant access to all reports.
- Select None to remove access to all reports.
- Additional tabs are available for:
- Alerts
- Other Pages
- Dashboard Reports
- After completing the necessary tabs, select Update User at the bottom of the page.
Edit a User
- In Users & Permissions, select Edit next to the user you want to update.
- Update the information as needed in:
- User Information
- Location Permissions
- Report Permissions
- Select Update User to save your changes.
Deactivate a User
In the Edit window, toggle the Active button to the left to make the user inactive. Select Update User to save your changes.
The user's status will now display as Inactive.
