Description: Learn how to set up Meal Periods in Connect for sales reporting, outlining steps for creating, configuring, assigning vendors/venues, and using these periods in sales reports for enhanced analytics.
Overview
Meal Periods are created for reporting purposes that allow specific times of the day to be grouped together for reports. These are not based on items but on the period of time that the items are sold. If items need to be assigned periods to appear, those would be configured under Day Parts. Some examples of Meal Periods include:
- Breakfast
- Lunch
- Happy Hour
- Dinner
- Late Night
