Description: Learn the process of setting up magnetic Server/Manager cards in SkyTab POS software.
Navigate to Employee Settings
Note: You will need to log in with a Support or Manager PIN to access Employee Settings.
Navigate to Manager > Settings > Users > Employees section in the POS Terminal.
Setup Magnetic Card
In the Employees Settings screen, select the desired employee and press the blue Swipe Card button in the middle of the POS Terminal screen.
After you swipe the magnetic card, the magnetic card ID number will show up in the Mag Card section. To confirm the changes, select the Save button as shown in the screenshot below.
Note: If the magnetic card has already been linked to a different employee, the system will not let you make the changes until you remove the card from the previous employee's profile.
Test Magnetic Card
Once the magnetic card setup is completed, log out to the login screen and test it out. Make sure you are swiping the card on the Onboard Reader device.
