Asian Character Support For Printed Tickets on SkyTab POS

Description: Learn how to set up menu items to print in Asian characters on ticket printers on SkyTab POS.

SkyTab POS now has the ability (v1.95+) to print the following Asian characters on ticket printers: Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. 

Note: You need a functional keyboard capable of typing Asian characters or the option to copy a translation from Google.

How To Configure

When configuring a menu item, simply set its Kitchen Print Name to the Asian characters you wish to print.

1. Navigate to Manager > Settings > Menu > Items > Advanced. 
2. Enter the Kitchen Print Name in Asian characters.
3. Select Save.
   

When using a supported printer, the characters will print in the proper size format.
