Description: Learn how to manage events using the Content Editing feature. Use this feature to easily promote special occasions, promotions, and activities on your website.
Posting events on your website informs customers about special occasions, promotions, and activities, helping to attract more visitors, boost attendance, and create excitement around the restaurant's offerings.
- Title: This defaults to "Upcoming Events" The text content can be edited.
- The "Manage Events" button allows you to add, hide, copy or delete events
- This section has a Hide Section toggle when you don't want to display any events.
Add New Event
- Select the Manage Events button.
- Select Add New Event.
- Here you can enter the information for the event:
- Event Name
- Start date/time
- End date/time
- A short description of the event
- Event address
- Toggle to hide or show an event image that can be uploaded or selected from Unsplash
- Select Create Event.
- Continue to create additional events or select Done.
Example:
Hide Event
- Select the Manage Events button.
- Slide the toggle to the right for the event you want to hide.
- Select Done.
Copy Event
- Select the Manage Events button.
- Select the Copy/Clipboard icon for the event you want to copy.
- The Event window opens with the information populated from the event. Make any changes needed and select Save.
Note: The system adds "Copy" to the end of the title.
- Select Done.
Delete Event
- Select the Manage Events button.
- Select the Delete/Trash can icon for the event you want to delete.
Note: There will be no confirmation message.
- Select Done.
