How do I Access SkyTab Website Builder?
On the Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM) left navigation bar, select SkyTab Website Builder.
Note: Only admin users can see this navigation item. If you do not see it, please call SkyTab Support or enter a ticket to secure admin access.
- If your website is published, you will land on the Website Manager. Select the Edit Website button from the Manager Dashboard to launch the Website editor.
- You will land on the Website Editor directly if your website was never published.
To get to the Website Dashboard from there, select the back arrow on the top left corner of the top bar to the left of the Shift4 symbol.
Can I Upload My Own Images?
Yes. This can be done from inside the Website Editor.
The following website sections allow you to upload one image from your computer.
- Logo
- Headline Banner
- Order Online
- Custom Section I
- Custom Section II
- Reservations
Supported File Types: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, SVG.
The image can be a maximum size of 1MB.
There is also the capability to use stock images using the "Select Images From Unsplash" button.
Can I Upload Videos?
Currently, you cannot upload videos, but please use the in-app surveys to request a feature request.
How Can I Temporarily Turn OFF a Service from my Website?
You can temporarily turn off a service you have subscribed to with Shift4 on the website using the Product Ribbon. Just expand the Product Ribbon in the editor, toggle off the service, and then publish the website to see the changes.
Another way of turning services off is inside the LBM portal, where you can turn off the selected service, like DoorDash/Uber Eats, by uninstalling it from LBM. If the service needs to be turned off temporarily from the website, it is highly recommended to use the Product Ribbon.
How Can I Make Menu Changes?
Menu changes have to be made in the LBM Marketplace Menu Manager. After making the changes, you need to publish the menu inside LBM to see the changes on the website. The changes might take up to a few minutes to appear on the website.

How Can I Get my SkyTab Online, Uber Eats, and DoorDash URLs on my SkyTab Website?
- SkyTab Online: In LBM, proceed to Marketplace and select the SkyTab Online left navigation tab. Select Settings and then select Copy Url. Now open the Website Editor, select the URLs tab on the left, and paste the above URL in the SkyTab Online section.

Uber Eats / DoorDash:
- Please make sure you have created your Uber Eats and/or DoorDash accounts with the provider. Once created, please activate the accounts in Lighthouse in the Marketplace section. For help with this, please look at the following links.
- Once your 3rd party delivery service is active in Lighthouse, please call SkyTab Website Builder Support and request for the service to be enabled on the website.
- Once it's confirmed that it's enabled, follow the directions below.
Please visit your Uber Eats/DoorDash account, copy the store URL, and then head over to the Website Editor, click on the URLs tab on the left, and paste the URL copied above in the Uber Eats/DoorDash section.
Note: After adding the URL, you may press ‘Save’ to save the changes (it will not reflect on the live website) or ‘Publish’ to apply the changes instantly to the live website.
How Can I Get my Reservations URL on my SkyTab Website?
From LBM, select SkyTab Settings on the left navigation tab. Select the Reservations tab and then select the Settings tab. The URL for the reservations will be on the right side of the page. Please copy the URL and then go to the Website editor, select the URLs tab on the left, and paste the copied URL into the Reservations box.
Note: After adding the URL, you may press ‘Save’ to save the changes (it will not reflect on the live website) or ‘Publish’ to apply the changes instantly to the live website.
Can I Add my YouTube Channel to the Website?
Currently, you cannot add your YouTube channel, but please use the in-app surveys to request a feature request be added.
Can I Customize the Coming Soon Page for a Different Offline Message?
Currently, you cannot customize the offline page, but please use the in-app surveys to request a feature request.
Can I Add Additional Sections to the Website?
Currently, you cannot add additional sections in the available themes, but please use the in-app surveys to request a feature request.
Can I Use my Existing Domain Name?
Yes. From the Website Settings tab, choose Connect a Domain and follow the instructions provided. After that, sign into your account with the domain name provider, add the A Records, and point them to the listed IP addresses in the instructions.
If your website is still not working after 48 hours of the above action, please call SkyTab Support.
Note: Please contact your domain provider directly for help with adding the A records.
How Can I Acquire a Domain Name if I Don't Already Have One?
If you do not have a domain, Shift4 provides a FREE domain. From the Website Settings tab, select Register Domain and follow the prompts.
Please note that we do not allow subdomains to be registered; e.g., shop.myrestaurant.com is not permitted, but the ‘www’ subdomain is registered by default.
E.g., If you register myrestaurant.com, we will register the following domains for you automatically:
restaurant.com
www.restaurant.com
Shift4 can provide a domain that ends with a .com extension only. If you need a domain that ends with a different extension, e.g., .net, .org, etc., you can still register it with your own domain provider and then select Connect Domain to connect to that domain from the Website > Settings page.
Can I Manipulate the HTML or Use my Own Javascript Code?
Currently, you cannot customize the HTML pages or add your own Javascript code, but please use the in-app surveys to request a feature request.
Can I Use my Google Analytics Account for Enhanced Analytics?
Currently, you cannot add your Google Analytics account for analytics, but please use the in-app surveys to request a feature request.
Can I Add any ADA Widgets to my Website for ADA Compliance?
Currently, it's not available, but we are actively working on allowing merchants to install an ADA widget from the Website Manager. Please check back soon or contact support for more information.
What if I Don’t Have my Menu in Place?
Setting up your online menu is critical; ideally, it should be done before the website is provided. If you have not set the menu up, please head over to the "Marketplace" tab on the LBM navigation menu to set up Menu Manager and get the menu configured.
Please remember to update the Online Descriptions and pricing of the items, as those are the details shown on the website.
The website will reflect the changes made in the Menu Manager automatically (please allow a few minutes for the changes to update the website).
What Devices Can I Use the SkyTab Website Builder on?
The Editor is designed to be used on devices with screens that are at least 960p. Because of this, we recommend using a tablet in landscape mode or (preferably) a desktop or laptop with a suitable screen.
Can I Use One Website for Multiple Locations?
At this time, we currently only support one unique website per location. We are actively working on a feature to support multiple locations via one single website, however, and will have more information at a later date.
Is the Website Builder Free to Use?
Yes. The Website Builder is free to use for SkyTab merchants.
