Description: Follow these steps to reset the EMC password in the People Portal for Micros Center of Excellence.
- Sign into Reporting & Analytics- The People Portal.
- Find the user for whom you wish to reset the password.
- Select the user name and navigate to the Point of Sale tab as shown below:
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and find the Set EMC Password button.
Note: This may not be available if the user has duplicate entries. - Select the Set EMC Password button and enter a new Temporary Password.
- Select Submit.
- Select Update in the top right corner.
If resetting the password for a user other than yourself, email the client the new temporary password.
Alert the user that upon first signing in, the user will be required to update their password to a complex alphanumeric password of their own choosing.
