Description: Learn about the changes to Autocomplete reporting.
We recently released a new feature, Autocomplete, for our online and kiosk ordering systems. Kiosk orders are always auto-completed, while online ordering (OLO) has an Autocomplete toggle available under Manager > Business > Marketplace. When enabled for OLO or for all kiosk orders, Autocomplete automatically completes orders at their designated due time, streamlining order completion.
Key Reporting Impact
With Autocomplete enabled:
- Tips for Autocompleted Orders: Tips collected on automatically completed orders will appear in your reports under the "Unassigned" employee if tips fall within the report’s date range. This unassigned category provides flexibility for manually distributing tips to employees as needed.
Updated Reports
Payroll by Employee - New
- Total Tips in Reports: Even though only active shift employees are shown in the report rows, the Total Adjusted Tips and Gross Tips columns will include tips for all employees, including those without shifts and the “Unassigned” employee.
- Unassigned Employee Row: To ensure transparency, a row will now appear in both Payroll reports for the “Unassigned” employee if tips fall within the report’s date range. This row will show:
- No hours worked but will display values in Adjusted Tips and Gross Tips columns.
Financial Overview - Cash Summary
- Tips Paid Out of Cash Drawer: For merchants set up to pay tips from the cash drawer, an additional line labeled “Unassigned Tips” will now appear under the Tips Paid line in the Cash Summary section if there are any unassigned tips.
- This line will display the total amount of tips not assigned to any specific employee, allowing you to track the amount that should be removed from the drawer and distributed to employees.

Actions Required
Tip Distribution: Check the “Unassigned” row in Payroll reports and the Unassigned Tips line in the Cash Summary to accurately allocate and pay out tips associated with auto-completed orders.
