Description: You need to calibrate your scale before using it. Calibration can also help with certain troubleshooting issues such as tare weight, moving the scale to a different location, and more.
Remove the silver weight plate to see the small bubble level. As long as the bubble is in the center of the circle, the scale is level.
If the scale is level, we have to make sure that it is stable:
- If the scale moves while sitting it is not even and may cause major weighing issues
- The feet under the scale turn to move them up or down
- Rotate the feet until the scale is both level and stable
Place the metal weighing plate back on top and select the zero key. If the scale is reading consistent weights, but they still seem wrong, make sure it is on the correct unit by selecting the lb/oz button. You can tell which it is on by where the arrow points.
If, after doing this, the scale still does not seem properly calibrated, please call Customer Support to facilitate a swap.
