What is causing this Issue?
Amount due $0.00 tickets
This issue will likely arise when the Print Receipt or No Receipt options are not selected after a payment, leading to automatic logout due to inactivity.
How do I resolve this Issue?
To address this issue, the Take Payment option must be selected again, followed by choosing either Print Receipt or No Receipt.
- The auto log-out settings can be adjusted on Manager > Settings > Business > General > Auto logout. Please consult the Configure Auto Logout Minutes on SkyTab POS article for more information.
- Additionally, this can be configured per station on Manager -> Settings -> Hardware -> Set Station Specific Auto Logout. Please consult the Enable Auto Logout Per Station on SkyTab POS article for more information.
To Prevent The Issue
- Modify the “Printing Options” by navigating to Manager > Settings > Tickets. To resolve this issue, select either Do not print or Automatically print option.
- If the tickets still appear with the amount due 0 with these changes, the issue might be related to the change due dialog window:
- In this case, the “Automatically close change due dialog” setting needs to be adjusted on Manager > Settings > Business. It needs to be enabled and set to a lower time than the auto log out for the station.
