SkyTab SOLO Updates

We are pleased to announce the deployment of significant enhancements for SkyTab SOLO throughout April and May 2025, with versions v2.142 and v2.143. These updates are designed to substantially improve payment reliability and provide expanded reporting capabilities, building upon similar successful enhancements previously released for SkyTab POS.

• Version 2.142: Release April 8

  • Custom User Interface (UI) for Manual Entry
    A new UI for handling manual credit card entries replaces the BroadPOS interface, offering a more fluid and intuitive user experience.

  • Transaction Summary Report
    In addition to the existing Transaction Detail Report, this new report option provides a concise view of transactions, saving paper while still delivering essential information.

• Version 2.143: Release May 20

  • Enhanced Get/Re-Use Invoice Functionality
    Improved handling of network-related payment interruptions. The device can now verify if a transaction was completed before retrying, preventing potential duplicate charges.

  • Location Transaction Report
    An aggregated report consolidating data from all SOLO devices under the same MID (Merchant Identifier) into a single, unified view.
