Description: Learn how the Table View helps table service employees quickly see essential table information and navigate tickets efficiently, without replacing the existing Host View.
The Table View gives servers and bartenders a layout-based view of tables, making it easier to identify owned tables, check status, and quickly open tickets. It works alongside the Host View without replacing it.
Reading the Table View
The Table View will display information in a table format, including:
- Total Guest count (total for all tickets if multiple exist)
- Ticket time elapsed in minutes (from the oldest ticket if multiple exist)
- Table number
- Total dollar amount (rounded to nearest dollar, total of all tickets if multiple exist)
- Number of tickets associated with the table (including split checks or additional tickets)
- Ticket owner screen name ("Multiple" displays for multiple tickets with multiple owners)
Tables With Multiple Tickets
Tables with multiple tickets show the total number of tickets next to the dollar amount.
When an employee taps the table, they can select the ticket they wish to access.
Note: Only jobs with the “Access to all Tickets” permission can open any ticket. Employees without this permission can only open their own tickets.
Color and Border Indicators
| Color/Border | Meaning |
| Gray table with Gray border | Available (no open tickets) |
| Dark Gray table | Closed in HOST view (cannot create tickets) |

Note: “Dirty” tables do not appear in Table View; use Host View to mark/view “Dirty” status.
