Add Network Exceptions for Transaction Manager
Your IT department must add the addresses for each secured server listed below to allow access to all Transaction Manager pages. Each address is followed by an asterisk (*), which serves as a wildcard and permits access to the listed address and any path that follows it.
Add the following exceptions to your network:
Note: For modern systems that support wildcard domain allowlisting, the shorthand .dollarsonthenet.net can be used as an alternative to listing each server individually. Both methods are valid. Use the individual server list if your system does not support wildcard domain entries.
Resolve a Missing Password Reset Email
If you submitted a password reset request but did not receive the email, your email domain may be restricting incoming messages based on content, even if Shift4 addresses are allowlisted on your network.
If you control your email settings, update your email configuration to allow all incoming messages from Shift4 to ensure you receive future communications without interruption.
If you do not control your email settings, resubmit the Administrator password reset request using a different email address.
Using a personal email address (Yahoo, Gmail, etc.)?
- Shift4 does not recommend submitting password reset requests to personal email addresses. Some personal email providers reject or filter emails from Shift4 based on content. If you must use a personal email address, include a note in the Reason for Reset field explaining that you have been unable to receive the reset email at your business domain. This is required to pass the initial verification of the request.
- Using a personal email address does not guarantee delivery. Shift4 management may decline the request, and the email provider may still block or filter the message even if the request is approved.
