Install and Connect the Kitchen Printer

Note: After setting up your kitchen printer, configure it in the POS system to ensure it is set up correctly for printing.

SNBC Kitchen Printer

Warning: This printer is not compatible with Checkout/Salon&Spa/Hospitality/Retail/QSR POS Systems.

SNBC BTP-S80 Thermal Printer

Shift4 uses an "SNBC" thermal printer for receipts. 

 

SNBC BTP-M300E Dot Matrix Printer

Shift4 also uses an "SNBC" dot matrix printer for receipts. 

Connect the Kitchen Printer

1. Locate the back of the printer.
2. Insert the power cable into the power port.
3. Insert the other end into the power outlet. 
   
   
4. Insert the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of the printer.
5. Insert the other end into any WAN/LAN port of the Shift4 router or switch.
   
   
6. Using the knob to release the lid, insert the receipt paper and make sure it's oriented correctly.
   
   
7. Turn on the printer by pressing the power button, and the green light will turn on.
