Description: Learn how to install and connect an SNBC BTP-S80 or SNBC BTP-M300E kitchen printer.
Note: After setting up your kitchen printer, configure it in the POS system to ensure it is set up correctly for printing.

SNBC BTP-S80 Thermal Printer
Shift4 uses an "SNBC" thermal printer for receipts.
SNBC BTP-M300E Dot Matrix Printer
Shift4 also uses an "SNBC" dot matrix printer for receipts.
Connect the Kitchen Printer
- Locate the back of the printer.
- Insert the power cable into the power port.
- Insert the other end into the power outlet.
- Insert the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of the printer.
- Insert the other end into any WAN/LAN port of the Shift4 router or switch.
- Using the knob to release the lid, insert the receipt paper and make sure it's oriented correctly.
- Turn on the printer by pressing the power button, and the green light will turn on.
