Description: Learn how to configure the SkyTab POS PIN Pad.
Note: If you haven’t yet installed the PIN Pad, install it first before configuring it in the POS system.
Configure POS to Communicate with PIN Pad
- Log in to the SkyTab POS, go to Manager > Settings > Hardware Settings > Payment Devices.
- Select Payment Device at the top of the screen.
- Select Payment Device from the dropdown, choose External PIN Pad, and then select OK.
- In the PIN Pad IP Address field, delete the existing entry and enter the PIN Pad’s IP address.
- Confirm the PIN Pad is on the Home screen, then select Test Connection on the POS. The PIN Pad will display a "Test Successful" message.
- Select Save.
- Repeat this on each POS for each PIN Pad.
