Description: Learn how to transfer a ticket to another clocked-in employee to assign ownership of an open order.
Transfer a Ticket to Another User
- Log in and navigate to the Grid View. Ensure that the Open tab is selected to display all currently open orders.
- From the list of open orders, highlight or select the ticket you wish to transfer.
- Locate and select the Transfer button at the bottom of the ticket. This opens the Transfer Ticket(s) dialog box.
- In the dialog, select the employee you wish to assign as the new ticket owner. The list will only include employees who are currently clocked in.
- Review your selection and confirm the transfer. The order ownership will be updated, and the new user will now have full control over the ticket.
Note: Transferring a ticket does not affect the ticket’s contents or payment details; it only changes ownership.
