Description: Learn how to assign a new or existing ticket to a table in Host Mode on the SkyTab POS.
Assign a New Ticket to a Table
- Log in to SkyTab POS and tap the Host tab.
- Select the desired section to view all available tables in that section.
- Tap on a table to select it.
- Optionally, tap Customer to assign a specific customer to the ticket.
- Tap the party size and tap New Ticket to create an order.
- If prompted, tap an Order Type. This appears when the job’s Default Order Type is set to Force Selection. If a default type is assigned, this step is skipped.
- Tap Open Ticket to start the order.
Open an Existing Ticket Assigned to a Table
- Log in to SkyTab POS and tap the Host tab.
- Select the desired section to view all available tables in that section.
- Tap the table with the existing ticket.
- Tap Open Existing Tickets to access the order.
