Description: Learn how to set alternate operating hours, such as being closed for Christmas or closing early for New Year's Eve

- Log in to Shift4 Dine Customer Hub.
- Select Online Ordering.
- Select Closures.
- To schedule a new closure, select the Add Closure button.
- Enter the name for your online closure, such as a Holiday, and then select the start and end dates/times for your restrictions.
- The Message you set will appear to any customers who try to place an online order during the dates provided. For example, “Sorry, we’re closed for the Holiday! See you tomorrow!”
- You can also tailor your closures to specific order types, such as Delivery Orders, Takeout Orders, and Dine In Orders.
- Select the Add button to schedule that closure for the future.
Next, set up your menu(s) via Menu Manager before testing the system.
Note: Shift4 Dine does not support closure configuration for DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, TakeOut7, FOLOS, and Waitbusters online ordering integrations. To temporarily close online ordering for those integrations, the restaurant should adjust its online ordering schedule in Menu Manager to reflect any closure dates and then update it back to normal hours once the closure has ended.
