SkyTab SOLO is a simplified version of the SkyTab application that offers the following features:
- 4G / LTE enabled.
- Ideal functionality for curbside pickup and at-the-door delivery.
- Available to all customers on any gateway with no POS integration required.

Note: Select the Follow button in the upper-right corner of any knowledge base articles in the SkyTab SOLO section to be emailed when new information is added.
Set Up SOLO
Follow the instructions below to easily set up SkyTab SOLO right out of the box:
- Open the SOLO application from the device’s home screen.
- On the home screen, tap Setup Account.
- Enter the employee name that will be displayed within the app and used for reporting. When done, press the back arrow in the top-left corner to return to the home screen.
- Select the hamburger icon in the top-left corner to access the navigation menu.
- Once complete, you can return to the home screen.
- Visit the Add Quick Menu Items Via Lighthouse Business Manager (LBM) article to set up your menu items.
Locate SkyTab SOLO Settings
- Open the SkyTab SOLO application.
- Select the hamburger icon.

Navigate to Settings.
Here, you can set up the Personal or Business profile.
Personal Profile
Choose a name that will be displayed on the main screen.
- Select Settings > Personal profile.
- Provide an entry.

Press the green checkmark icon to complete the entry and go back.
Note: If the Personal Profile is blank, the main screen will only display the "Setup account" option. Once you select this, the same Personal profile screen will show up. After typing in the name, the option to "Pay Custom Amount" will appear on the main screen.
Business Profile
Here, you can set up the business information that will reflect on the receipts.
- Select Settings > Business profile.
- Fill in the name, phone number, and address of your business.
- Once complete, you can return to the home screen.
Set Up Advantage Program
If your business has the Advantage Program, it needs to be set up on the SOLO application to be applied to every payment. This can be done under the Business Profile tab. Make sure to select the correct program and percentage.

Payments
Set Up Fast Pay Options
- Select Edit next to the applicable payment amount.
- Enter the amount.
- Select Continue to automatically save and display on the main screen among the main payment options.
Enable Options
Toggle options including Custom Amount and Return to Home Screen After Payment.
Payment Types
Toggle options including Credit Card, Debit, and Cash.

Taxes
Create New Tax
- Select Create New.
- Set up the tax based on the state
Note: For specific information, refer to Configure Sales Tax in SkyTab SOLO.
Set Up Tips

Enable Tipping - Displays the tips on the application during the payment.
Note: It needs to be disabled for tips to be accepted via Receipt. -
Enable default tip selection - Designate the tip values for Tip 1, Tip 2, and Tip 3 as the default selection.

Enable Threshold Amount - Select a Minimum Threshold amount for the tips.

Quick Menu
Enable Quick Menu will display the option on the main screen.
- Remote - upload the menu configured in Lighthouse Business Manager.

Local - Set up the menu on the device locally.
Add Item
- Select the plus (+) icon.
- Select Done after filling out the information.
- Verify the item is displayed.
Note: To delete an item, select the Trash button when editing an item.
Access Quick Menu
- Select Quick Menu on the main screen to access during payment.
- Choose the item and select Continue.

Receipts
Here, you can enable the tip line and the signature line to be displayed on the printed receipts. You can also enable the prompt for the second receipt.
Note: The business information for the receipts needs to be set up under the Business Profile tab.

- PIN Protection
Note: PIN protection will lock the Settings with a PIN code. To set it up, you will need to enter the default PIN code, which is today’s date in yyyy/mm/dd format.
How to Use the Navigation Buttons
Since the SkyTab SOLO runs on an Android device, it shares the same navigation buttons as other Android devices. Refer to the following information on how to use the Android buttons.
