Long Press on Send Button on Ticket Order Entry View on SkyTab POS

Description: You can initiate a context menu with different options for sending an order using the Long Press gesture.

When the SEND button is pressed and held, you are presented with three options:

• Send & Stay: Send the existing ticket items and stay within the current open ticket. 
• Send & Continue: Send the ticket and exit to the ticket Grid view. This is the current default behavior of the SEND button in the POS.
• Send & Logout: Send the ticket and log out of the POS.

Common Uses

• Send & Stay is most commonly used when an employee wants to send part of an order, such as an appetizer, back to the kitchen to be prepared while the rest of the order is collected and entered.
• Send & Continue is normally used when the order has been taken and is ready to be prepared by the kitchen.
• Send & Logout is most commonly used on shared stations. It prevents another user from creating a new ticket with the wrong login.
