Shift4Gift Reload functionality is here! Customers can add more funds to their eGift cards from the location’s gift card storefront. Let’s take a look at how this feature works.
Note: Only eGift cards can have value added using this feature. This will not work for any physical gift cards.
- Enter the location’s shop using the URL in the Shift4 Dine Customer Hub.
- Select Check Gift Card Balance at the top right corner.
- Enter the eGift card you would like to refill and select Check Balance.
- Select $ Add Funds.
The amounts are based on the pricing amounts in the eGift settings on the Customer Hub. If a custom amount is selected, the Reload Amount updates as the numbers are added. Once the user is satisfied with the amount, select Proceed to Checkout.
The user fills in the needed information above and then selects Check Out. Emails are sent in the same way as when the eGift was purchased originally. If the location needs to resend the email or manage their transactions, direct them to the Shift4Gift Orders page in the Customer Hub.
