Overview
Customers who purchase eGift cards receive two emails:
A confirmation email with their receipt.
A separate email containing the eGift card, which includes both a QR code and a card number for redemption.
Where eGift Cards Can Be Used in SkyTab POS

Redeem an eGift Card
To use a Shift4Gift eGift card as payment:
- From the Payment screen, tap Gift Card.
- When prompted, either:
- Scan the QR code on the eGift card using the 2D scanner, or
- Enter the card number manually
A 2D scanner is required to scan QR codes. Merchants without one can purchase it through their Sales Rep. If you purchased your POS hardware outright (buyout), contact SkyTab Support to request a 2D scanner.
Note: Check for Duplicate Gift Card Numbers There is a monthly fee for a 2D scanner.
