Description: Learn how to log into the SkyTab POS using a PIN or server card.

When you are added to the POS system as an employee, you are assigned a unique 4-digit PIN to use for login, or you are provided with an employee magnetic card.
- On the initial screen of SkyTab POS, you will log in by entering your PIN using the number pad or swiping your employee card (the magnetic card reader is attached to the back right side of the POS screen).
If your card swipe fails, press the Swipe Card button to reinitialize the card reader.
Important: If you enter an incorrect PIN too many times, the station locks, and you need a manager to unlock it.
Note: This step will only apply if you have more than one job assigned to your profile in SkyTab POS.
- If you are assigned more than one job on SkyTab POS, you will be prompted to select the job you will perform when logging in. Select a job from the list to continue.

If your job includes taking payments, you need to select an option for how your transactions will be stored in the system. These options can vary based on your location's settings.
Once you've selected an accounting option, you will be taken to the default screen for your selected job.
