Description: Adding a guest to an order allows items to be grouped by who ordered them. In addition, separating items by guest makes it easier to serve a party and enables the simple splitting of the ticket at the end of the transaction if requested.
Add a Guest from the Order Entry Screen
To add a guest, tap the + (plus) sign next to the Guest Count at the bottom of the open ticket to show a new guest identified by the number on the left side of the ticket. By default, any items you add to the order will be added under this new guest.
Alternatively, you can press and hold the Guest label and enter a number on the onscreen keypad if you need to add several guests to the ticket at once.
Add a Guest from the Manage Ticket Screen
On the Manage Ticket screen, you can add a guest by tapping on the +Add Guest/Seat button at the bottom of the ticket. If there is more than one ticket, tap on the button at the bottom of the ticket to which the guest/seat is to be added. The ticket does not have to be selected to add a guest using this button.
Remove a Guest From a Ticket
To remove a guest, tap the - (minus) sign next to the Guest Count. By default, SkyTab POS will remove the last guest from the ticket. If the guest has items assigned, the items will move to the previous seat, such as from Seat 4 to Seat 3.
You can also change the number of guests by pressing and holding on the Guest Count itself, entering the correct number on the keypad, and then selecting Ok.
