Description: The interchange extract file holds aggregate interchange for a given merchant by currency processed by the various card brand associations.
For more information on Enterprise Extracts, refer to the Enterprise Extracts Guide.
How to Use the Extract
An interchange is a fee paid by a merchant's bank to the cardholder's bank to cover services performed (e.g., converting a charge on a card to a deposit in a bank account, fraud analysis, risk analysis, etc.)
You can use an extract to determine their monthly interchange fee amount. If services are performed in different currencies, the fee by currency code will be listed.
